Test Time!

Brian took the DAT a few weeks ago and did awesome on it! He studied so hard for months so thankfully it paid off. He has 4 interviews scheduled so far and hopefully a few more will come. The exciting part is one of his interviews is here at Baylor! We love living here and would hate to move again but if so, then that would be ok! Here is a picture of a poster Marcie and the kids made for Brian the night before his test.

1st Day of School

Everyone was so excited to start school this year(especially mom!!). The kids made a transition to a new school and it has been going great for them. They love their teachers and have made tons of new friends. We are so glad that things are off to a good start. I am quickily adjusting to only having McCall at home with me, so hopefully I can keep her entertained!

So I am finally blogging again after taking a few months off. Life has been a little crazy around here with working in Texas and in Wa, my brothers wedding, Cash's birthday, my inlaws visiting and just everyday life with 4 kids. We have just finished a couple weeks of craziness with birthdays in our family. First was Maddy's, then Marcie, Brian, Mckenna, and finally Reagan's. Mckenna's party was on Friday and now we are finally done with all the celebrating! Actually, we really only celebrated the girls' birthdays with parties so it wasn't too bad. As an adult, you really get the short end of the stick!

I still can't believe our oldest is now in double digits and our second is 8 and ready to be baptized! Kinda crazy to think that in 6 short years we get to start the dating and driving fun! (let's just not think about it) Holy Crap that's scary!! We really are blessed to have such sweet, beautiful, fun loving girls.

What a crazy week this has been. I flew in from WA on Friday after working for a week just in time for Halloween and a busy Saturday of soccer and volleyball. It was also Brian's birthday so we were able to go to dinner at the Grand Lux and enjoy my favorite dessert of cheesecake! (I'm sure it's Brians favorite too!)

The other day as I was putting laundry away I discovered a little friend sitting by the towels. My first response was to freak out and run but the thought of this spider getting away and being in my house made me realize I had to do something about it! It was way to big to step on so the glass jar worked to trap it until Brian got home.

So this is how we spend most of our Saturdays. All 4 kids are playing soccer and McKenna is also playing volleyball for the first time! It is so fun for us to watch games all day but in this Texas heat it can be kinda tiring. (That's why I'm rooting for volleyball!)

So if you watch this video of Cash playing you will see what happens pretty much the whole game. Not to brag or anything but... he is pretty darn good!

McCall is so stinkin' cute it doesn't matter how good she is! She actually scored a goal yesterday so that was fun but pretty much she wanted to go home cause she was hot and tired.

I can not remember any of my kids at three being as excited for there birthday as McCall. She has been eagerly awaiting this day for at least a month now! We had a family celebration last night where she opened gifts from us and Grandparents. Which she loved everything..Thankyou! And then this afternoon she spent a fun afternoon at the park with some friends to celebrate again! What a fun and exhausting day for her (and Mom!) Is it just me or are all birthday parties tons of work even when you try to make them easy? Thanks to all of her friends for making her day so special!

Ballet

McCall also had her very first ballet class today with Miss Lisa. She loved it and has been showing us everything she learned all day! We don't stay and watch so hopefully she behaved, but who knows this is McCall.

My pictures didn't turn out very well so I will take more next week and hopefully do a better job.

Cash's first day of preschool! He loves going to school where he and his friend Samual are the only boys! Last year there was only one girl so I 'm sure his teachers are expecting a much calmer class.

The girls on the first day of 4th grade (Mckenna) and 2nd grade (Maddy) This summer just flew by for us but I was sure glad to get back into the swing of things!

So I have finally joined the world of blogging! I can't believe I have made it this far setting this up without help from anyone! I am really bad at the computer so this will be a good learning experience for me- unfortunately you will have to deal with a really boring blog with lot's of typos and sentences that don't make much sense and run on and on..... you get the point. I also can't spell worth a darn so you'll have to ignore that also! (oh good I just saw spell check) Anyway's I hope this will be a fun way to keep everyone updated on our family and that you will enjoy hearing about our fun crazy adventures in life!
